Making your way to the summit of Jbel Toubkal (4 167 m) is a challenging but an amazing journey. The trip starts with a 2 hours drive from Marrakech to Imlil where you will meet our team of mountain guides, mules, mule-men and cooks. Our amazing staff will take care of every single detail of your trek to make it magical.
In this wonderful trek, you will explore amazing Berber villages, the High Atlas Mountains and very green valleys. As a BONUS for this trip, you will be invited to a home of a local Berber family to drink a cup of mint tea.

Detailed Itinerary:
Arrive at Casablanca airport; Meet and greet by your escort guide and transfer to Marrakech, “Paris of the Sahara” as Winston Churchill once described it. Check in at the hotel. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight in Marrakech.
Transfer to Imlil. Drive through a secluded mountain route standing at 1700 meters above sea level. You will pass through traditional Amazigh (Berber) villages built from adobe and stones. Arrive at Asni valley where will enjoy the sight of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive to Imlil at the higher foothills of the western High Atlas Mountains. Lunch in Imlil. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight in Imlil.
Early morning breakfast in the hotel. At 06:00AM – Meet up with our Berber muleteer crew, then start our trekking to Toubkal base camp. There will be frequent stops on the way including the Shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. Picnic lunch on the way. Continue to the Refuge at the base camp of Toubkal at 3200 meters. Dinner in the Refuge. Overnight in the Refuge.
Enjoy a very early breakfast in the Refuge. Enjoy a three hour steep climb to get to the highest peak in North Afrika, Jebel Toubkal (4167m). The panoramic views from the roof of the Atlas Mountains are amazing. Enjoy yourself there and engrave your name on a rock as one of the Lords of the Atlas. Later in the morning, start your descent from the roof of North Africa back to the Refuge. Lunch in the Refuge. After lunch, follow the zigzagging trails of the slopes of the Atlas Mountains towards Imlil where we will meet our driver, and then transfer through Marrakech. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight in Marrakech
Breakfast in the hotel. Enjoy a half day guided city tour of Marrakech. Stop first at the Koutoubia Mosque, which is an old monument built under the reign of the Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansur (1184 to 1199). This monument inspired other buildings such as the Giralda in Seville in Spain and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Continue the tour with the world famous Jema El Fna Square where you will enjoy amazing performance of traditional activities by storytellers, snake charmers, peddlers of traditional medicines. Your last stop is the bustling souks in the old medina. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Casablanca airport for your departure flight.
