Detailed Itinerary:

Arrive at Casablanca airport. Meet and greet by your driver/guide, then transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the city tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco and its largest city. Begin with an inside visit of Hassan II mosque, the largest mosque in the country and one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue to Ain Diab Corniche for a pleasant stroll along the coast. Your next stop is Mohammed V Square in the city center. The city tour includes also the Habous Quarter, one of the oldest areas in Casablanca. The district was built by the French in the 1930s as an attempted solution to the ongoing housing shortage. It marries the best of traditional Moroccan architecture with modern facilities and French ideals – even the mosque fronts onto a strip of grassy lawn just like a village church. Welcome dinner at Ricks Cafe or similar. Overnight in Casablanca.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the Imperial Cities. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy the city tour of Rabat. Begin with the Kasbah of the Udayas. This kasbah is a fortification constructed on a hill, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Kasbah of the Udayas was constructed during the realm of the Almohads. Continue the city tour with Mohammed V Mausoleum. This Mausoleum is home to the tombs of the current king’s father and grandfather. Next to the Mausoleum, stop at Hassan Tower, which is the towering minaret of the Hassan Mosque. The construction of the site began in 1195. Optional dinner. Overnight in Rabat.

Breakfast in the hotel. Enjoy your first round of golf at Dar Essalam Royal Golf. It fully merits the 40 mile detour along the coastal highway from Rabat, where lies the most notable Moroccan creation of Robert Trent Jones Sr, that at Royal Dar Es-Salam Golf Club. This has three courses: a nine hole, the par-72 Blue Course of 6,205 meters, and the Red Course, a monster of 6,702 meters from the tiger tees. It’s regular venue for the Moroccan Open. Here, the short holes aside, virtually every fairway bends, all are tree-lined with bunkers at strategic points and two large lakes jointly influence five holes. Optional dinner. Overnight in Rabat.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to EL Jadida, a charming port city on the Atlantic coast. The city was previously known as Mazagan (Portuguese: Mazagão). The city was seized in 1502 by the Portuguese and controlled until 1769, when they abandoned Mazagão, their last territory in Morocco. Upon their forced departure, the Portuguese destroyed the Governor’s Bastion and evacuated to the Portuguese colony of Brazil, where they founded new settlement Nova Mazagão (now in Amapá). Visit the citadel ramparts, impressive tank and another defense structure that were left behind when the Portuguese left during the 18th century. Inside the walls are old Portuguese mansions with pilasters and wrought iron balconies, mosques and churches built next to each other. Optional dinner. Overnight in El Jadida.

Breakfast in the hotel. Enjoy an amazing golfing experience at the Mazagan Golf Course. At 7,484 yards, the Mazagan Gary Player Golf Course is Morocco’s longest course. This provides a unique challenge to champion golfers. Golfers of all abilities can still fully enjoy the course though. The dunes and valleys featured throughout this links course have been entirely created with sand from the region. The type of grass used, the Paspalum, a Platinum variety, is the ultimate choice for fairways, tees, and roughs. Dark green in color, it is particularly resistant to salt water. Services and reception is run entirely by Troon Golf, world leader in the management and development of golf courses. Troon Golf provides unrivalled service and hospitality. International professionals trained by Troon Golf are also highly qualified and deliver high-level tutelage. Mazagan’s Gary Player golf course will absolutely be one of the highlights of your golf holiday to Morocco!. Optional dinner. Overnight in El Jadida.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Marrakech, “Paris of the Sahara” and Winston Churchill once described it. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy an afternoon guided city tour or Marrakech. Stop first at the Koutoubia Mosque, which is an old monument built under the reign of the Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansur (1184 to 1199). This monument inspired other buildings such as the Giralda in Seville in Spain and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Stop next at the Bahia Palace. This Palace was built in the late 19th century and was intended to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. Stop next at the Saadian tombs, which is a site that dates back to the time of the sultan Ahmad al-Mansur (1578-1603).
